Dita Von Teese in the Most Technologically Advanced Dress Ever Created

Thursday, March 14th by

This is the coolest thing you'll see all day, maybe all week. That is if you're interested in technology, fashion, architecture, science, history, burlesque models, or merely beautiful images. If any of those things are your thing, you're gonna love this. The "this" being the world's first "fully articulated 3-D printed gown" modeled by bombshell Dita Von Teese.

The dress is designed by Michael Shchmidt and architect Francis Bitoni and was printed by Shapeways, using a a new technique that could change fashion design and construction forever. Oh, and the design itself is based on the Fibonacci sequence, The Golden Ratio, that basically explains everything that is beautiful in the world and the spiraling of the galaxy itself. Mind blown! Behold the incredible intersection of science, fashion, and technology.
